Socket brackets are made from 1/8 inch thick steel not lightweight sheet metal. Both brackets fit most 4-wire & 6-wire electrical sockets and can be welded or bolted in place. Made of steel. It is black powder coated. It is used to hold towed vehicle electrical sockets firmly.
